Empowering Marginalized Youth: The NIACE Foundation Journey

NIACE (Nurturing Innovative Action on Career and Education) Foundation was established in 2015 to advance Human Resource Development, Skill Development, and allied initiatives. Registered under the Society Registration Act of 1860 (Registration No. UK06603092020004653), NIACE Foundation is headquartered in Nainital, Uttarakhand, and actively operates across multiple states including Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Bihar, and Odisha.

We are dedicated to the upliftment of socially marginalized and underprivileged youth—such as Persons with Disabilities, BPL rural youth, and tribal communities—through targeted skill training and counselling, enabling their integration into the mainstream workforce.

NIACE Foundation is a Training Partner registered with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, with Training Partner (TP) ID TP004042. We implement a range of skill development programs under national and state-level schemes, including:

PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana)
State-sponsored PMKVY initiatives
CSR-funded skill development projects
SANKALP (Skill Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion)

We are affiliated with multiple Sector Skill Councils (SSCs) to deliver industry-aligned, competency-based training across diverse sectors.

NIACE Foundation is also empanelled with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MSJE) under the SIPDA (Scheme for Implementation of Persons with Disabilities Act), facilitating focused skill development for Persons with Disabilities.

Additionally, we serve as a Project Implementing Agency (PIA) under DDU-GKY (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana) with PRNs UT2017RF16143 & UT2025RF2103, working to empower BPL rural youth through skill training, career counselling, and employment linkage.

We believe that skilling and counselling not only enhance employability but also foster social inclusion and challenge societal biases. Youth from marginalized communities bring unique strengths to the workplace—creativity, resilience, loyalty, and diverse perspectives—that enrich organizational culture and reduce recruitment and training costs.
